Pumpkin seed oil (short oil) is one of the roasted seeds of a local variety of pumpkin, the Styrian oil pumpkin, vegetable oil produced. The oil is suitable as a salad oil, it is also used in cold and hot starters, main courses and desserts.

The story of pumpkin seed oil was started in 1735 when it was made ​​from thick-shelled seeds.
