An Englishman, a German and some Americans were sitting around a table...... It sounds like the setup to a joke, but there was nothing funny about the sincerity of the team that put the recent Blue Knights Give kids the World Poker Run together.

A Poker Run is a benefit ride organized by a motorcycle group. Riders 'ante up' to ride a circuitous route, stopping at predetermined points to draw a playing card, whomever has the best Poker hand at the finish wins.

100% of the 'ante' and everything else we collect goes directly to GKTW. As a group we absorb all costs related to promoting and facilitating the event, relying on donations from local businesses for prizes and awards to attract riders to participate.
